A mixture of gentle rolling hills, steep ravines, and coulees is what makes the Grasslands National Park in Saskatchewan a national treasure.
Sitatued at the northern extremes of the great plains of Canada, Grasslands was established as a National Park on February 19, 2001. The Grasslands region has been important seasonal habitat for nations such as the Cree, Assiniboine, Sioux, and Blackfoot, but native habitation dates back to around 10,000 years.
